  • Welcome to Bethel!

Hello and welcome to Bethel!

There is only one mission at Bethel Tabernacle Empowerment Center: to love God, love people, and make disciples of Jesus Christ in Sans Souci, Castries.

We love God through developing in our understanding of Him and living in worshipful obedience to His Word.

We demonstrate our love for others by following Christ’s example and opening our hearts and homes to those who are hurting and in need.

Jesus Christ lived a faultless life in obedience to God’s commandments before being crucified and resurrected by the power of the Holy Spirit and ascending to heaven. He will return one day to make all things fresh.

Come and see what we’re about and see if you’d want to join us.

We think that calling on the name of Jesus in the waters of baptism expresses our faith in Him and His saving work on the cross.

Water baptism is an act of obedience in which one identifies with Jesus in his death to sin, the burial of the old nature, and resurrection to new life in the new covenant.

ASK YOURSELF IF YOU ARE READY TO BE BAPTIZED.

If you are, we invite you to contact the church’s office to commence the process!

At its most fundamental level, belonging is synonymous with membership. Participation in something larger than one’s self implies a desire to be a part of something larger than one’s self in order to contribute to the health and growth of those who have promised to do the same for you.

It entails becoming a member of a family that you have the opportunity to select.

If you and your family are ready to begin the membership process and/or learn more about what it means to be a member of Christ’s universal church, as well as a member of our local body, please contact the church’s office so that we may be of assistance to you.

Thank you for your interest.

Frequently Asked Questions

Currently, we’re holding both in-person services on Saturdays at 8 a.m. and on Sundays at 7:30 a.m. These services are also live-streamed on Bethel’s social media platforms. Other services times are as follows:

  • Tuesdays: Bible Study – 7:00 p.m. [virtual]
  • Thursdays: Midday Prayer – 12:00 p.m. [in-person and virtual]
  • Thursdays: Prayer Meeting – 7:00 p.m. [virtual]

Seat reservations for our weekend worship services are still required. This is in keeping with current Covid-19 protocols. However, you can still attend services but will need to register at the information desk. It is recommended to complete your registration ahead of service.

You can watch the live streams for all of our virtual services on our Livestream page.

In light of your positive experience with the Bethel Tabernacle Empowerment Centre and/or Bishop Mc Lorren, we’d like to extend an invitation to keep watching sermons and engaging with our materials.

As a result, we encourage you to seek out a local church, where you can develop your understanding and love of God by interacting with other believers.

However, if you’re nearby or have relocated, we’d be happy to welcome you to the Bethel Tabernacle Empowerment Centre family. You can find a suitable gospel-preaching church in your locale or search for a Pentecostal Assembly via the PAWI website.

We’ll take your temperature, sanitize your hands, and get your contact information as soon as you arrive. You will be greeted and shown to your seat by a member of the usher and greeter staff.

We also do our best to arrange to park so that as many people as possible can attend our services. To show our love for our neighbours, we ask that you do not park in front of their homes or in designated parking areas around the church.

The earlier you arrive, the better your chances are of getting a seat.

You are welcome to wear whatever you feel most comfortable in when it comes to your wardrobe as long as it is modest and will not be a distraction. Attendees and members of our organization tend to dress somewhat formally.

During our 7:30 a.m. Sunday morning service, Junior Church is frequently offered. However, due to Covid-19, most youth programmes have been put on hold for the time being.

Joshua Anointed Generation (JAG) youth ministry is still active on Fridays. Youth Sunday morning services, on the other hand, will soon be resumed.

Please be aware that you must register in order to participate in this event. Also note that your children are always welcome to join you in the main service, despite the fact that we have a separate children’s program.

Our volunteers are required to be trained and screened, and we maintain stringent teacher-to-child ratios to ensure the safety of the children in our care. In order to maintain a healthy environment, children must be free of fever and other signs of illness for a minimum of 24 hours.

Please let us know if your child has any allergies or other health issues. Your unwell youngster should not attend any of our church services. Here are a few symptoms to watch out for:

Fevers/Diarrhea
Chronic runny nose with large amounts of mucus
Lethargy
Cough that sounds watery or hacking

Head to the Information Desk at the front of the Church if this is your first time checking children in. After your first visit, you’ll be able to sign in with the same information each time you come back.

If you’re having trouble registering, please visit the check-in station outside Bethel Tabernacle and bring your contact information with you.

At least 15 minutes before the commencement of the service, classrooms are open for drop-off. Your child/ward will be able to join Junior Church or the main service once you’ve checked in.

We’d be happy to talk about how we can help if you have a child with special needs. Find out more by getting in touch with us.

What Is a Christian’s Identity?
At the very least, society’s understanding of what it means to be a Christian has evolved over time. Many individuals mistakenly believe that simply believing in God or attending church on a regular basis makes one a Christian. The Bible, on the other hand, offers a distinct view of what it means to be Christian.

To be a Christian is to live a life modelled after Jesus Christ.

In Antioch, those who followed Jesus were originally referred to as “Christians.” “Acts 11:26” reads, “…for a year, Barnabas and Saul travelled about the church, teaching a large number of believers. At Antioch, the disciples were first referred to as Christians.” For this reason, they were known as “Christians,” a term that refers to those who spoke and acted like Jesus.

So, what does it mean to act like Jesus Christ?
Those of us who profess faith in the atoning death and consequent resurrection of Jesus Christ are called to emulate the life and character of the Savior in everything we do.

When we show compassion and kindness to others, we’re imitating Christ.

To be Christlike, we must forgive, love, and pray for our adversaries.

Being like Jesus means welcoming and serving the “least” members of our society.

When we take care of the sick and vulnerable—those who are least able to care—we reflect and reflect the Son of Man.

Jesus is a model for those who strive for fairness.

Good deeds alone do not make one a Christian. As disciples of Jesus, we are called to live our lives in accordance with his teachings. Our heart health is a part of it.

A Christian Heart: What Does It Mean?
In our hearts, the Holy Spirit lives and works through us when we put our faith in Christ and commit our lives to serve Him and serving others as He served us. Christ is with us and within us. New creations we are!

We’d be honoured to assist you if you have a physical requirement that we can meet. A member of our administrative team will contact you if you let us know in advance.

To help new Christians learn the basics of Christian living, Bethel Tabernacle Empowerment Center offers a New Converts program.

By taking the Discipleship program after finishing the New Converts Class, you will discover how to grow in your faith and be a powerful testimony for the Lord Jesus Christ.

It’s time for you to take the next stage in your academic preparation, where you’ll discover your spiritual gifts, learn how to study the Bible, and prepare for a life of ministry.
