About Our Counselling Service
Counselling is a form of psychotherapy in which you talk with a professional who listens to you and offers suggestions on how to deal with your feelings.
The term “counselling” is sometimes used to refer to all forms of talking treatments, however, counselling is a distinct form of therapy.
Is there anything that counselling can assist with?
With counselling, you’ll be able to deal with:
mental illness, such as depression, anxiety, or anorexia unsettling aspects of one’s physical or mental health, such as infertility. The death of a loved one or the breakdown of a relationship or the strain of a job
Experiencing counselling: what to anticipate
When you go to see a therapist, you can expect a safe place to share your thoughts and feelings with someone who is trained to listen and support you without passing judgment or criticism.
It is possible to learn more about your feelings and thoughts through therapy, as well as to find your own answers to difficulties. Then again, they aren’t likely to offer any guidance or tell you how to go about it.
Is there an option for counselling?
Communicating in person or in a group over the phone, in an email, or via live chat on the internet (learn more about online tools for mental health)
Depending on your needs, you may be offered a single session, a few weeks or months of sessions, or a longer course lasting months or years.
Seeing change may take a few sessions, but with the advice and encouragement of your therapist, you should gradually begin to feel better.

About Our Prayer Service
We’re Here For You.
It’s in the Bible “Don’t worry or be anxious. Instead of worrying, focus your thoughts on God and ask for his help. Transform your problems into prayers by expressing them to God through petitions and praises. In no time at all, a sense of God’s completeness will settle over you, and everything will come together for the better. It’s amazing what occurs when you put Christ in the centre of your life instead of worry.” (MSG translation of Philippians 4:6)

When someone dies in the faith, what exactly happens at the funeral?
A Christian funeral service, like most religious funerals, is individualized to the deceased. Prayers, sermons, readings, hymns, and other musical or poetic selections are commonplace at funerals, whether they take place in a church, a crematorium, or a cemetery (see our guide to popular funeral songs and famous funeral poems). A eulogy can also be given in honour of the deceased by a close friend or family member.
In advance of the funeral:
Friends and family assemble prior to the funeral service for a vigil. It’s a time for sharing stories, reading prayers, and singing hymns in honour of the deceased. A Christian church, the grieving family’s house, or even the funeral home are common locations for this event.
As soon as the family and friends arrive, pallbearers will take the coffin to the front of the church and to the gravesite.
Several hymns and prayer readings are likely to be included in the service. It’s likely that the family of the deceased, who may have received instructions from their loved one before they died, will have selected these items. We’ve compiled a list of the most often requested funeral hymns.
Psalms – a reading from a Psalm, usually Psalm 23, is common at burial funerals.
A sermonette will be delivered by the minister at the service. If a service is included in a Christian funeral, it will normally take about 30 minutes longer to complete the service.
The pastor performs the rite of committal at the last resting site (graveside for burial or before the curtains close at a cremation).
Burial is the ultimate opportunity for loved ones to say their final goodbyes. Some mourners like to put a little dirt on the coffin before they leave.

Please know that we are delighted that you are considering devoting your kid to the Lord. Dedication is an opportunity for parents to offer their children before God and the church, pledging to seek God’s grace and wisdom as they carry out their duties as parents.
“Children are the Lord’s gift; they are a prize from him,” reads Psalm 127:3. When we gather to celebrate and thank God for our children, Parent/Child Dedication is a time to do so.
The time has come for parents to show their children what it means to follow Jesus by their example and teach them that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, and that belonging to a local church is an important part of that commitment to faith.
Beliefs of Parents
Parents swear before God, their family, and the congregation that they would raise their child in a way that honours him or her. It’s important that parents set an example for their children by making the following commitments before a child is dedicated to them:
The parent(s) have a relationship with Jesus Christ that goes deeper than a superficial one.
Our church’s Statement of Faith outlines our views and ideals, which are supported by the parents.
Parents make a commitment to setting an example for their children in terms of moral and religious behaviour. A life of sexual purity is defined as doing so in accordance with the principles of God.

All couples have their own preferences, likes, and dislikes, which makes every wedding ceremony unique. We don’t believe in a “cookie-cutter” approach to wedding ceremonies or a “one size fits all” philosophy. Our staff is very experienced in the art of tailoring your ceremony to your specific needs. In order to design the wedding ceremony you’ve always dreamed of, we’ll guide you through a straightforward step-by-step process that includes providing you with options and suggestions as well as meticulously crafting it to your specifications. When you hire us, we become your employees, and as a result, you have complete control over the project.
No matter how big or little your wedding is, whether you want a conventional or modern ceremony, church, at a hotel, club, or garden, or in a stunning location, or something completely out of the ordinary, we’ve got you covered.

When the Son sets you free “you will be set free indeed,” Jesus said in John 8:36, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach the gospel of the poor; he has sent me to heal those who are brokenhearted, preach freedom for those who are imprisoned, and restoration of sight to those who are blind.”
It is the goal of this ministry to free people and families who have been enslaved, whether they are aware of it or not, and help them break free of the chains that bind them and prevent them from living lives of freedom and fulfilment through a relationship with Jesus Christ. For the sake of bringing “NEW LIFE” to individuals who have been crushed under the weight of the world.
Teaching God’s Word and praying for grace, love, and forgiveness can bring about the healing and deliverance we seek through Jesus Christ our Lord. We shall treat each other with respect and care, and we will conduct ourselves with honesty, integrity, and devotion.
Preaching, teaching, and prayer under the guidance of the Holy Spirit saves souls and delivers God’s people. Let’s work together to get out of this mess. Those in need of additional counselling will be sent to us in a discreet manner.

Emergencies are defined as “urgent situations in which there is clear evidence that an event, or series of events, has occurred that causes human suffering or imminently threatens lives or livelihoods, and for which the government concerned lacks the means to remedy; and it is a demonstrably abnormal event, or series of events, that causes extraordinary disruption in the life of a community.”
For several years, Bethel Tabernacle Empowerment Centre has offered emergency food aid, frequently in response to disasters.
We continue to support a large number of individuals who have been displaced, rendered homeless, or deprived of basic supplies as a result of cataclysmic catastrophes, whether man-made or natural, preventable or not.
We have acquired an unmatched amount of experience in responding to emergencies across decades of crises and innumerable interventions. This is true for both programming — the collection of principles and concepts that drive our actions – and readiness and reaction procedures.

For years our School Feeding Programme offers meals for children who might otherwise go hungry, keeping them attentive and prepared to learn in school. This critical donation enables our initiatives nationwide to provide nutritious meals to children every day and food items for them to take home on weekends.
Feeding programmes like ours empower them and provide them with adequate nutrition, enabling them to carry on with their daily lives and become more responsible students, ultimately enabling them to strive for a brighter future.
Finally, feeding programs provide benefits that extend beyond giving nutritional meals to children.
